Introduction

♔ — The mun is called Summer. She/Her. And I’m of age—24 years old, if you’re curious.

♔ — Keith is, obviously, a VLD character. But crossovers make the world go ‘round and I’m totally always down with interacting with people that have blogs for other fandoms. Hell, sometimes even fandoms I’m not familiar with, if I’m intrigued.

♔ — MUN IS AUTISTIC. If I say something, and you don’t 10000% understand where I’m coming from or what I’m saying or whatever, ask me to elaborate. I will. I have a tough time articulating why certain things make me uncomfortable and it may take me a while to find the wording. So if you see me say something is bad or wrong and not explain why, just ask. It takes a few tries for me to get my explanation right.

• FEARS: Being rejected (by the other paladins and by his lion), his efforts to be a good person not being enough due to his galra blood, losing people
• MENTAL DISORDERS/DISABILITIES: Autistic
• WHEN WAS THIS DIAGNOSED?: It wasn't. Guidance counselors batted the idea back and forth but decided to just "wait and see what happens", hoping he'd grow out of it. He did not. Luckily for him, the lack of paper diagnosis is part of the reason he was accepted into the Garrison. If he had it--or received one while he was there--he would've been kicked out much sooner than he was.

• INTELLIGENCE: Intelligence is a fucked up useless concept but he's a smart boy. He was top of his class at the Garrison before he was kicked out.
• LIKES: Heart-to-Heart discussions, letting off steam via training, low commitment hangouts (being near each other but doing your own thing)
• DISLIKES: So many of the things that Lance chooses to be and say, he's still a little iffy on food goo, people treating him strangely/differently from other people, the fact that people think he's super angry all the time when that's just his face
• DISPOSITION: He comes off angry/irritated/sad a lot of the time when really he is just contemplative and doesn't emote well, but he really is friendly and loyal. He cares for people a lot, and it doesnt take him long to get "I would die for you" attached.

biography

For as long as Keith could remember, he was damn good at fighting. His blood ran hot with it--the familiar itch to swing striking every time some kid asked him why he didn't have a Mom.

Not that it changed the fact that he didn't have one, of course.

Young men with missing pieces and learned fists often find their place in the military. But Keith had always been regarded by adults to be like a changeling; eyes too big and dark and curious, too many questions, face too serious and thoughtful to be anyone's REAL son. His probing inquiries eventually outweighed his exemplary performance and he was cast out; left searching for answers alone. At least, until the burning questions of three other teens lead them to collide at the center.

You see, young people with missing pieces and unanswered questions often find their place among each other.

It turns out that the center's name was Shiro, and with the five of them together--saving the galaxy one planet at a time, slowly growing used to each others' idiosynchrasies--Keith finally had something he needed.

But he still had questions.

Is it selfish to go looking for where you came from after already finding where you belong? Would it wound his newfound family that he needed to know more about the circumstances of his birth?

What if he could only choose o n e?
